This is my ongoing project about Rohingya Refugees who have fled their native Myanmar due to ethnic violence perpetrated against them. Victims of a genocide in their country, thousands of Rohingya refugees have fled to India since 2011. In New Delhi, they live in ghettoised camps. These camps lack basic amenities like potable water and sanitation. However, despite the deplorable living conditions in Delhi, most Rohingya refugees prefer living here than the life they had in Myanmar, with its draconian restrictions, inhuman brutality and often, violent death.
